My mom is my best friend. She knows me better than anyone in the world. She always lends a hand when we need it. When she visits, she is constantly cleaning, cooking, grandmothering the babies, organizing my house, etc. She never quits!
She's also hilarious. We share the same sense of humor and can laugh so hard at the dumbest things :) We both married guys who could care less about the holidays, so together we make sure to soak up every moment of the Christmas season.
My dad is probably the smartest, most hardworking person I know. We go to him for advice on everything- from finances, to parenting, to discipline, to fantasy football ;) He knows the answers to life's most difficult questions.
We didn't always have as close of a relationship as we do now. I get my stubbornness from him, so we butted heads just a few times in high school ;) Now we are very close and I am so thankful. He is also Gabe's best buddy. No doubt about it, Gabriel is a grandpa's boy through and through. He loves my dad up and down and it makes me so happy to see their relationship grow and develop!
