Saturday was our Easter celebration at Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Jerry's. We had a very delicious lunch of sub sandwiches, salad, potato salad, deviled eggs, fruit salad, crackers with spread, brownies, and strawberry ice cream pie. Yum! Not helping lose the baby weight though... ha.
Uncle Brian got to meet Claire for the first time. He was so sweet with her. He also brought Gabe the cutest little monkey (who was slightly confused at his role... monkey? bunny? both?)
Or was CLAIRE the bunny? hmmn...
The three "big" kids (I CANNOT BELIEVE Jake and Gabe are big brothers!!) got to have an Easter egg hunt. This was Gabe's first time participating! He was a little confused about why he had to carry the treats in the bucket, but he did a decent job of actually looking for the treats! Cousin Leah was a great helper to him and very generous in sharing her treats.
The bunny even brought Claire something: a sweet pink and green dress with flower-bottom bloomers! She wore it yesterday with a white bow and was the cutest little spring flower :)
The kiddos headed outside to play with chalk...
Jump a little hop-scotch...
Run a few races...
Be tickled...
Fly through the air...
And play in the fountain, get soaked, run around the yard to dry off, and come in and change clothes!
More important than any of the other activities, though, is that we enjoyed every minute with family and celebrated Christ's amazing miracle resurrection! Thank you so much Bean's and Eldridge's for a great holiday weekend.... and congratulations to Angie, Tim, Leah, and Jacob on BABY #3!!! :) We can't wait to meet him/her!
