This month, you learned how to roll from your back to your tummy. You are grabbing toys on your playmat and smiling all the time. You sit in your bumbo and are getting closer to sitting on your own every day. You are so close to giggling and will almost snort if we tickle you. You are also learning how to entertain yourself when you are awake, meaning I don't have to hold you 100% of the time :) For a long time, you only knew how to eat when you were awake and would cry if we weren't holding you!
For the last few nights, you have slept 4 hour stretches in your crib (you outgrew the bassinet- you are too long!) This is an improvement, so I'll take it. You still are only nursing and won't take a bottle or paci. The doctor gave us the ok to start rice cereal, but we're going to wait a few more weeks. Since you were 5 weeks early, we don't want to rush you!
Gabe is still smitten with you and loves to climb in your crib to lay by your side. He frequently brings his trucks to you to play with. He will line them up by your side and wait for you to pick one- when you don't, he'll put one in your hand. He can't wait until you are big enough to play with him!
You are also becoming a daddy's girl. When no one can make you smile, he sure can. I tease your daddy all the time that he is too fun and makes you and Gabe not like me anymore. That's ok, though- he is just that good of a daddy.
We love you, Clee, and are glad you are here!
