lots of random

We're still alive over here. We've been in Indiana visiting with my family while Aaron was taking a class. It's going to take a day or two to get back into our routine, but I'm hoping another blog post will go up soon :) We've had lots of fun adventures but of course, few pictures because I still don't have my camera back. This week!

Like the new header? It's the first one I've ever made! The tag line "surprised by joy" is there for multiple reasons:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TOREY!

Today is my best friend Torey's birthday. She is awesome and so fun. We've gone through so much together and managed to stay close. She graduates from Purdue this Sunday and moves to Indianapolis soon after, to start her first post-college job. I am so proud of her! 

Gabe has a double ear infection and Claire has her first cold. Not fun. I'm actually hoping his infections pester enough to get ear tubes. I really believe he needs them, call it mother's intuition or a little bit of crazy, or maybe both. I think that's why he is delayed in his speech. Related note: he has his first evaluation with the speech therapist on May 24th.
